Shannon Conner

Shannon Conner is as resilient as they come. After an unexpected career turnaround, she realized she’d mistakenly placed her self-worth in her professional accomplishments. She now owns a thriving wellness startup and encourages all around her by being an open book about her personal experiences. She shares her story on this episode of The Wildly Capable Woman podcast. Here’s how she describes her typical day:

I am an early bird who likes to workout first thing in the morning. If I can see the sunrise after I workout, I know it's going to be a good day. Why? Because it feels great to have already carved out some 'me' time before the day has even begun. The rest of the day is a juggling act of working from home and managing the home. Thankfully, my dog, Gamble, is always by my side... mostly in old-man-level snoring while curled up under my desk, or moody sighs to let me know that I am moving around the house too much. Ha! A current goal of mine is to have one coffee chat with a community contact per week to learn their startup story or to ask their advice. While nerve-racking to reach out to strangers, this has been hands-down the most helpful, insightful, and rewarding, part of developing Gather, so far.
