What makes you feel proud?

As the Program Director for an organization committed to serving, assisting, and redeeming lives through collaborative efforts, my pride stems from the profound impact we have on individuals and our community through the lens of love. Every day, I witness the transformative power of collective action – how our partnering local organizations, businesses, volunteers, and participants come together to create meaningful change. I’m proud to lead a team that shares this vision and one where every effort, no matter how small, contributes to a larger purpose. Together, we’re not just addressing immediate needs but also fostering long-term success, creating a ripple effect that extends beyond our direct reach. This collective impact is what drives me, and it’s what makes the work we do truly rewarding. In our organization, we believe in the potential of every individual to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. To be part of that journey, to assist in that transformation, and to witness the power of redemption through our combined efforts is not just a responsibility, it’s a privilege.

Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?

Father God, My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, my husband Jon Stansberry, my mentor Gerald Scott, my family, my team, my community, and the people I am blessed with the opportunity to serve. What truly inspires me is seeing the resilience and growth of those we serve. Whether it’s helping someone navigate personal challenges, offering career guidance, or providing resources that open doors to new opportunities, our work is about more than just support – it’s about empowerment and redeeming love. Each success story is a testament to the strength of collaboration and the human spirit.

What’s been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?

The greatest obstacle I’ve had to overcome has been the limitations I’ve placed on myself. For years, I found myself held back by self-doubt and a fear of stepping beyond the boundaries I had unconsciously set. These internal barriers were far more formidable than any external challenge I faced. Realizing that my own mindset was the true hindrance was a pivotal moment. It required a deep, honest reflection on how I viewed my potential and the courage to dismantle those limiting beliefs. In pushing past these self-imposed boundaries, I discovered a resilience and capability I hadn’t known existed. Overcoming this obstacle has not only transformed my approach to challenges but has also redefined how I see myself and my possibilities. It’s taught me that our true potential is often just beyond the limits we set for ourselves – and that the first step to overcoming any challenge is believing that you can.
