Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?

The biggest influence in my life is undeniably my faith in God. He has been my constant source of strength, guidance, and purpose through every challenge and triumph. My faith grounds me and reminds me daily of the importance of living with integrity, compassion, and resilience. It’s through His teachings that I’ve learned to educate, empower, and encourage others, striving to make a positive impact in my community and beyond. This unwavering belief shapes everything I do, from my personal life to my professional endeavors, guiding me to build generational wealth and create a legacy my family can be proud of.

What’s been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?

Overcoming the trauma of my childhood sexual abuse. This experience left deep emotional scars and significantly impacted my self-esteem and trust in others. For years, I struggled with feelings of shame, insecurity, and the fear of not being good enough. Today, I channel these lessons into my work as a real estate broker, mentor, and community leader, always striving to educate, empower, and encourage others to overcome their own obstacles and build a brighter future.

One year from today, how do you hope you’re different?

I hope to be even more grounded in my faith, with a deeper sense of peace and purpose. I aspire to have grown my real estate brokerage, Ellum Realty Firm, into a thriving community where my team and I are not only achieving professional success but also making a significant impact on the lives of our clients by helping them build generational wealth. Ultimately, I aim to be more resilient, more compassionate, and more empowered to inspire and uplift those around me, continuing to educate, empower and encourage individuals to become the best versions of themselves.

What’s the single biggest problem you’d like to solve in your community?

The lack of financial literacy and access to resources that enable individuals and families to build generational wealth through real estate. Many people in my community are unaware of the opportunities available to them or face mental barriers that prevent them from entering the real estate market. This perpetuates a cycle of financial instability and limits their potential for long-term wealth building.
