What makes you feel proud?
My grit and determination to never give up have been essential throughout my life. I’ve experienced significant pivots in my thirties and forties, facing many challenges I never anticipated. Despite encountering failures time and again, I have found strength in my faith. God has never failed me, and together, we continue to navigate and embrace life’s journey.
What keeps you up at night?
I have a strategic mindset that constantly seeks ways to enhance and elevate my clients’ experiences. I have a plethora of ideas and often feel eager to implement them all at once! Additionally, I think a lot about the life I am striving to create for my family and the experiences I want my children to have. This includes my child with autism, whose sleep cycle is often interrupted, leaving him wide awake in the middle of the night with an abundance of energy! So he quite literally keeps me up at night.
What’s been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?
The biggest obstacle I have faced in my life has been going through a divorce and becoming a single mom of five, particularly as the sole parent of a child with autism. My divorce brought numerous other challenges, including poverty, cycles of grief, and depression. Navigating the complexities of being a single mom has undoubtedly been the hardest ongoing challenge I have encountered.
One year from today, how do you hope you’re different?
One year from now, I hope to have evolved into a savvy multi-business owner. To achieve this, I need to be more intentional with my time, resources, and activities to yield the best return on investment toward reaching my goals. I aspire to flourish in all areas of my life, particularly in my healing journey and my relationship with my children.
