4 Fun Things

Hundred Magazine honors women based on character, not accomplishments. But we cannot help but notice the incredible things they’re doing across Oklahoma City and beyond. Four fun things I noticed this week:

Stephanie Peña is gearing up to emcee the annual deadCenter Awards Ceremony this month, Oklahoma’s only Oscar-qualifying film festival awards ceremony.

Alyson Moses started a new job at The Water Environment Federation as Managing Director, Marketing & Communications. This not-for-profit organization is inspiring the water community in pursuit of human and environmental well-being.

Dr. Seleena Smith has started offering her mental health services in a fellowship program at the Windcall Institute, which provides rest and support to leaders of social justice organizations.

Dr. Noor Jihan Abdul-Haqq was appointed to the OK City-County Board of Health.
