Marissa Stinson

Marissa faced a lot of challenges growing up, but she somehow rallied to create a better future for herself and her children. She shares her story on this episode of The Wildly Capable Woman podcast. Here’s how she describes her typical day:

A typical day for me is like most people, busy but manageable. I hurry to get me and my children ready in the morning and still always get to work on time. At work I can either be at my desk all day or hold conversations all day. I wear multiple hats so whatever type of day it is I'm still relying on my green tea in the morning to help me to get a good start. I definitely keep work separate from home and vice versa. So as soon as I leave work I put my mommy hat on and get my kiddos. As much as I would love to go home and relax, it’s time for dinner and then follows a mixture of walks, trips to the parks, sports practices, grocery shopping, homework, baths and my favorite, cuddles. Once this is all done I look forward to tomorrow and then often pass out.
