Emily Strickler

She’s driven to impact her community through her design and branding skills, but Emily doubles down on her impact by prioritizing working with clients who do the same.

No two days look the same right now! I just had my first child in April, so we're still figuring out a new life/work schedule, but an ideal day means dropping off my son with my mom and heading to The Treasury for a day of complete focus on my work. I love settling in with a cup of hot tea, putting my headphones in, and writing out my to do list, answering emails and Slack notifications, and checking in with the Toast team before diving in to client work. Lately this means I'm focused on design and creative direction for branding, website, and UX projects, but I might jump in to help with social media management, event design, or other branding deliverables. During the school year, I also balance work with teaching Digital Design at the University of Oklahoma's journalism and communications students. After work, I love hanging out with my husband, our son, and our dog, especially if we can adventure around Norman or OKC. With whatever time I can find for myself, I'm usually either in the gym or on my bike, reading a book or watching anime, or listening to k-pop (bonus points if I can combine any of these activities)!
